InnerSpace Offers Chakra Workshop Series

InnerSpace of Avon announces a three-part chakra balancing workshop series. This series will allow students to learn the key elements of each chakra, which are the energy centers in the body. Blocked energy in the chakras can lead to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual unrest, which is why it's important to understand what each Chakra represents and what can be done to keep energy freely moving through the body.

In the first two sessions of this exploratory workshop series, master yogini Beverly Kent will teach the secrets of balanced 'prana' or energy. In the first session, on Sunday, August 5 from 4 to 6:30 p.m., participants will learn to ground themselves, their relationships with others, and rise beyond the ego to connect the lower chakras to the upper at the heart center. The second session expands the foundation by focusing on unlocking the upper chakras where attendees will learn to open the heart, tap into intuition, and rise to expanded consciousness. It will be held on Sunday, August 12, from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

The third session, Friday, August 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., is a special Jivamukti Yoga Chakra Balancing Class with Zoey Trap. This class will move through poses specifically designed to open and balance the chakras from the root to the crown.

Sessions may be attended individually. Cost for Session 1 and 2 is $50 for both or $30 for either one. Jivamukti Yoga Chakra Balancing Session cost is $20. Fifty percent of all proceeds from the third session will be donated to Her Turn, a non-profit organization that helps prevent sex trafficking of girls in Nepal.
