Learn More About Going Gluten Free
A gluten-free diet doesn’t automatically equate to “healthy nutrition.” Come learn first-hand from Snap Fitness owner, 3x Professional Physique Athlete, and Fitness Coach, Michele Welcome, as she hosts a gluten-free recipe demonstration at ShopRite supermarket on utilizing relatively unknown items off the custom Michele Approved© grocery list, which was designed exclusively for customers at ShopRite.
Items on the grocery list pack a nutritional punch and feature recommended protein, carbohydrate and an expanded super food section among its nutrition categories. Despite some of the items being nutrition staples in cultures 5,000 years ago, many items on the list are unfamiliar to many people today. This is primarily because we’ve moved away from consuming foods in their natural state and have gone to the processing of foods and labeling them as “healthy” (an art that Michele calls “genius marketing”).
Come learn about health benefits, recipe ideas, and history of many items on the Michele Approved© grocery list that are not only nutritional powerhouses but also gluten free. Tastings and information are free. Stop by Snap Fitness today and mention this article to receive an additional free gluten-free recipe.
Michele Welcome Pellegatto is a 3x Figure Pro, Certified Personal Trainer and owner of Snap Fitness Avon, 260 W Main St, Avon. For more information, call 860-581-4014 or visit www.SnapFitness.com/AvonCT.
