Active Isolated Stretching for Injury Prevention and Long-term Vitality

Active Isolated Stretching for Injury Prevention and Long-term Vitality

Karen Kramer, RN, HNC, owner and director of Optimal Being in Canton, is now offering Active Isolated Stretching (AIS.) This wellness modality improves the body’s stretch reflex in conjunction to specific manual release of individual muscles.

Each stretch lasts no more than two seconds and creates a perceptual lengthening of specific muscles. AIS is a vital component of injury prevention, performance enhancement and a healthier lifestyle in general.

Kramer is offering introductory 60-minute sessions of AIS for $39.

Optimal Being, LLC is located at 101 River Rd in Canton. For more information or to book an introductory session, call 860-693-8040.
