Mindful Writing Workshops at Bridge Healing Arts Center

Elizabeth Hill, author of Green Your Heart, Green Your World, will offer two workshops this month, on August 7 and 14, at the Bridge Healing Arts Center in Farmington. Hill is a Life Coach with over 15 years of experience working with nonprofits and individuals to create community change and spur personal growth. She founded Green Heart Living to help people who are feeling overwhelmed by their lives, schedules and projects, to create lives filled with more ease, joy and purpose—without giving up anything that is important to them.

“Write You Are”, a mindful writing workshop, will be held from 6 to 8pm on August 7. The past and the stress of daily life can weigh us down with heavy energy. This workshop will teach participants to clear out these stressors through writing and simple meditation techniques that open up space for a more joyful and present life.

 

“Life Craft”, a creative workshop for the soul, will be held from 6 to 8pm on August 14. This workshop includes meditation and writing exercises to manifest the future you desire. Participants will get crafty and creative, and will leave with a written vision of their future and a Vision Collage (all materials included).

Hill wrote Green Your Heart, Green Your World as a gift for those in the “helping” professions: nonprofit professionals, teachers, parents, nurses, social workers, caregivers, community leaders, volunteers and anyone who spends their days in service to others. The book contains a wealth of soulful practices to help people avoid burnout, save the world and love their lives.
